Wireless Deicing Solution

Flightcom’s deicing solution supports full-duplex hands-free wireless communication between the deicing truck driver and the worker in the basket to improve team efficiency and safety. The wireless operation eliminates boom and headset wiring failures, increases spray operator mobility, provides hearing protection, and allows the driver to maintain communication while checking liquid levels and operating the pump outside the cab. The pre-configured system supports continuous full-duplex communication between the two team members. Optionally, the system can be also be configured to provide push-to talk communication with ground control or other teams via two-way mobile radio. Flightcom can provide customized systems for other team configurations, including communications between multiple teams working on the same aircraft.
